The Franciacorta DOCG Millesimato Saten Brut - MAGNUM from the Ricci Curbastro winery is an oenological gem that embodies the elegance and refinement of Italian winemaking. Produced in the renowned vineyards of Lombardy, precisely in the Franciacorta region, this sparkling wine stands out for its traditional method of production and a meticulous selection of grapes.
The term "Saten," which in the local dialect refers to silk, alludes to its soft and silky texture, a distinctive feature of this sparkling wine. The Millesimato Saten Brut is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, handpicked with great care to ensure the highest quality. Aging in the bottle for at least 36 months on the lees gives this wine an aromatic complexity and an almost unparalleled fineness of bubbles.
The MAGNUM version, with its 1.5 liters, is particularly suitable for special occasions, offering the opportunity to appreciate the taste and aroma evolutions in a larger format, which ensures optimal maturation.
Visually, Franciacorta Saten presents itself with a bright golden yellow color and greenish reflections. On the nose, it opens with an elegant and complex bouquet, dominated by aromas of white-fleshed fruit, notes of fresh yeast, and almond nuances. On the palate, it is creamy, with a very fine and persistent mousse, and a well-balanced acidity that concludes with a long and pleasantly fresh finish.
Ideal as an aperitif, the Franciacorta DOCG Millesimato Saten Brut from Ricci Curbastro pairs wonderfully with light appetizers, fish and seafood dishes, or as a companion for a special evening, celebrating the most memorable moments.
