Casalforte Corvina Veronese IGT is a captivating expression of the Corvina grape, grown with passion and dedication by the renowned Riondo winery, located in the heart of the Veneto wine region. This IGT (Typical Geographical Indication) wine is celebrated for its extraordinary quality and the careful selection of its grapes.

Corvina, the predominant variety in this wine, is famous for its rich aromatic profile and its ability to produce wines of great structure and depth. Casalforte Corvina Veronese IGT presents with an intense ruby red color, foreshadowing a complex and varied olfactory bouquet. On the nose, it reveals notes of ripe cherry, plum, and spicy hints of black pepper and vanilla, arising from careful aging in wooden vats.

On the palate, the wine offers a medium to full body, balanced by a pleasant acidity and soft yet well-structured tannins. The flavors of ripe red fruit blend harmoniously with light touches of dark chocolate and coffee, culminating in a persistent and satisfying finish.

Ideal for pairing with hearty dishes such as braised beef, game, and aged cheeses, Casalforte Corvina Veronese IGT also stands out as a meditative wine, to be savored slowly to appreciate every nuance. Its elegance and complexity make it an excellent choice for any collector or enthusiast of authentic Italian wines.

It is recommended to serve this wine at a temperature of about 16-18°C to best enhance its organoleptic characteristics. With an aging potential that extends for several years, Casalforte Corvina Veronese IGT by Riondo promises to evolve beautifully, gaining even greater nuances of taste and aroma over time.
