The grapes used for Vietti's Barbera d'Alba "Tre Vigne" come from vineyards located in the municipalities of Castiglione Falletto, Monforte and Castiglione Tinella, characterized by highly relevant calcareous-clayey soils.
These vineyards host plants with an average age between 35 and 40 years. After a rigorous manual harvest, the grapes ferment in steel for approximately 14 days, at a controlled temperature between 26 and 32 degrees. Subsequently, they carry out the malolactic fermentation in barriques and remains in contact with its fine lees for approximately 4 months. Finally, the aging process continues for 14 months, both in barriques and large oak barrels.
The result is a Barbera d'Alba Tre Vigne which appears in the glass with an intense ruby red color, evoking a symphony of fruity and floral aromas that give elegance and refinement. Subtle nuances of sweet spices further enrich the olfactory experience. In the mouth, the wine stands out for its remarkable balance and harmony, offering a full sip with notable complexity and a persistent finish.
