The Calaonda IGT Calabria - Magnum from Librandi Winery is a wine that captures the essence of Calabrian viticulture in a magnum format, ideal for special occasions and grand celebrations. The name "Calaonda" itself evokes images of waves gently crashing on the Calabrian coast, symbolizing the grace and power of this wine.

Produced with carefully selected grapes, this wine reflects Librandi's commitment to incorporating sustainable practices and traditional methods with modern winemaking techniques. The result is a wine of exceptional quality that expresses the unique terroir of the region.

Visually, the Calaonda presents a deep and luminous red color. On the nose, it offers a rich and complex bouquet with notes of ripe fruits such as cherries and plums, enhanced by nuances of sweet spices and a light touch of vanilla from the oak aging. On the palate, the wine is robust yet balanced, with a well-integrated tannic structure and a persistent finish that leaves a lasting impression.

The magnum format (1.5 l) not only ensures better wine evolution over time but also makes a style statement and a declaration of celebration. The Calaonda IGT Calabria - Magnum is perfect for accompanying richly flavored dishes like red meat roasts, game-based dishes, or aged cheeses. It is also a wonderful gift for Italian wine enthusiasts, representing a remarkable example of what Calabria has to offer in the international wine scene.
