The Sangiovese IGT from Villa di Mare represents an authentic expression of the enchanting terroir that characterizes the inland regions of Italy. This red wine with a Typical Geographic Indication reflects the extensive expertise of the Villa di Mare company in producing wines that fully enhance the characteristics of the Sangiovese grape, known for its robustness and depth of taste.

The hand-selected harvest allows only the best grapes to be chosen, thus ensuring that the final wine expresses all the potential of the varietal. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by a brief period of maturation in wooden barrels, Villa di Mare's Sangiovese IGT presents a vibrant ruby red color, with hues that tend towards garnet as it ages.

On the nose, there are aromas of ripe red fruits, particularly cherries and plums, enriched by slight spicy notes and a hint of tobacco inherited from its maturation in wood. The palate senses a well-balanced structure, with a soft entry that evolves into an elegant and velvety tannin, which harmoniously matches the acidity. The finish is persistent and leaves a pleasant sensation of warmth and complexity.

This Sangiovese pairs perfectly with typical dishes of Italian cuisine such as pasta with ragù, grilled meat, and aged cheeses. It is also ideal for accompanying an evening of conviviality, representing an excellent choice for those looking for a wine that combines tradition and gustatory pleasure. Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C to enhance all its qualities.
