The Riesling - Droner Hofberg Kabinett Feinherb - Weingut Loersch represents an excellence of the Moselle wine region, renowned for its slate soils that impart minerality and freshness to the wines. This Kabinett, made from carefully cultivated Riesling grapes, stands out for the balance between residual sweetness and vibrant acidity, typical of the designation. The stainless steel aging method preserves aromatic purity, enhancing notes of ripe citrus, green apple, and delicate floral hints.

On the palate, it is fresh and slender, with a light structure that invites drinking, characterized by a slight effervescence due to the Feinherb, a German term indicating moderate sweetness. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with fish dishes, white meats, or soft cheeses, this Riesling is a perfect expression of the Droner Hofberg terroir, capable of surprising with elegance and harmony.

Winery history
The Loersch family can trace its winemaking activity back to 1640. Today the estate is run by Alexander Loersch, who took over cellar responsibilities in the early 2000s and has developed a style focused on site- and vintage-typical Riesling. His father, Ernst-Albrecht, led the estate until 2008.
Production philosophy
Strong focus on terroir and the expression of individual vineyards: selective hand-harvest, gentle handling of the grapes, spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts and extended ageing on the lees. Agronomic practices oriented towards naturalness.
