The Lugana DOC Brolettino by Ca' dei Frati is an Italian white wine that represents one of the finest interpretations of the Turbiana grape variety, typical of the Lake Garda area. The Ca' dei Frati winery, known for its dedication and the high quality of its wines, meticulously oversees every stage of production, from vineyard to bottle.

With its bright golden-yellow color, the Brolettino stands out for the complexity of its aromatic bouquet. On the nose, it unveils notes of ripe fruit such as pear and peach, with subtle hints of citrus, enriched by nuances of almond and vanilla, imparted by aging in oak barrels.

On the palate, its structure is rich and enveloping, with a perfect balance between acidity and freshness, making this wine an excellent choice to accompany hearty fish dishes, white meats, and fresh cheeses. The finish is remarkable, leaving a pleasant sensation of harmony and completeness.

Ideal for enjoying young, the Brolettino also offers an interesting aging potential, thanks to its robust acidic structure and aromatic complexity that evolves over time in the bottle.

A true exemplar of Lugana DOC, the Brolettino by Ca' dei Frati represents an excellent combination of Italian winemaking tradition and enological innovation, capable of delighting the palates of the most discerning connoisseurs.

Winery history
The estate is documented as far back as 1782, and its present course took shape when Felice Dal Cero moved to Lugana di Sirmione in 1939. The Dal Cero family progressively bottled and promoted Lugana; in 1969 Pietro Dal Cero took part in the establishment of the appellation by bottling its first label. Today the estate is managed by succeeding generations of the family, who carry on production and activities tied to the local area.
Production philosophy
Careful work in the vineyard and cellar, with separate vinifications for each vineyard to capture the different expressions of the terroir. The estate declares respect for the raw material, up-to-date techniques and carefully planned ageing to produce wines with integrity and longevity.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate's main vineyards are concentrated in the Lugana di Sirmione area and around the tower of San Martino della Battaglia on Lake Garda; in the early 2000s the estate also acquired approximately 11 hectares in Valpolicella, where the Amarone 'Pietro Dal Cero' is produced.
