The Morgon Bellevue Sable 2022 from the Daniel Bouland winery is a refined and profound expression of the Morgon terroir, one of the ten crus of Beaujolais. This red wine is known for its robust structure and deep ruby color, which heralds an equally intense bouquet. On the nose, it opens with lively aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and blackberries, complemented by subtle spicy nuances and a slight touch of minerality, typical of the sandy and schistose soil from which it originates.
On the palate, the Morgon Bellevue Sable displays a splendid balance between fresh acidity and well-structured tannins, blending into a long and pleasantly persistent finish. This wine is crafted from Gamay grapes, traditionally vinified to preserve the varietal character and expression of the terroir.
Ideal to serve at a temperature of 16-18°C, the Morgon Bellevue Sable 2022 pairs perfectly with rich dishes such as roasted red meats, game, or aged cheeses. This vintage is already delightful to enjoy now, but it can also be cellared for a few years, developing further layers of complexity.
