The Moscato d'Asti DOCG by Prunotto is a sweet, sparkling white wine, produced in the Piedmont hills, an area renowned for the cultivation of Moscato grapes. This delicately sparkling wine is famous for its distinctive aromatic profile and unparalleled freshness, offering a pleasant and light sip, perfect for pairing with dessert or for a special toast.
With a straw-yellow color and golden highlights, Prunotto's Moscato d'Asti opens with an intensely fruity aromatic bouquet. Peach, apricot, and fresh almond notes are accompanied by subtle nuances of sage and white flowers, creating a rich and inviting olfactory profile. On the palate, this wine reveals balanced sweetness thanks to its captivating acidity which supports its freshness and extends the taste persistence.
The production follows traditional methods, with temperature-controlled fermentation that preserves the natural aromas of the grapes and maintains a low alcohol content, typical of this style of wine. At the same time, a short aging period on the lees adds further nuances to the already complex sensory profile.
Best enjoyed chilled, Prunotto's Moscato d'Asti is perfect for convivial moments, being a highly versatile wine. Excellent at the end of a meal alongside fruit-based desserts or fine pastries, it can also be surprisingly harmonious with blue cheeses thanks to its natural sweetness that contrasts the saltiness.
An authentic expression of the Piedmont territory, Prunotto's Moscato d'Asti embodies the essence of Moscato grapes, turning each sip into a unique and memorable sensory experience.
