The Passito di Pantelleria DOC produced by Pellegrino is a precious nectar, born from the volcanic and windy lands of the island of Pantelleria. This natural sweet wine is made from Zibibbo grapes, also known as Muscat of Alexandria, which are left to dry under the Mediterranean sun, thus intensifying their sweet and concentrated flavor.
The 50cl package contains a wine of intense golden yellow color, which seduces from the first glance. On the nose, it reveals a rich and complex bouquet, featuring aromatic notes of dried apricots, figs, honey, and a delicate floral sensation reminiscent of orange blossom. On the palate, Pellegrino's Passito di Pantelleria delights with its perfect harmony between sweetness and freshness, culminating in a long and persistent finish characterized by exceptional nuances of candied fruit and exotic spices.
Appreciated as a meditation wine, this Passito pairs splendidly with desserts based on dried fruit, blue cheeses, or simply as a solemn conclusion to a meal. Its richness and intensity also make it an ideal candidate for special occasions or as a gift for lovers of quality sweet wine.
The Pellegrino winery, with its long tradition and dedication to enhancing native Sicilian vines, ensures a product that expresses the purity and authenticity of the Pantelleria territory. A true gem for connoisseurs and an unforgettable experience for those who wish to approach high-quality Passito wines.
