Helios is produced with 100% Augustiatis grapes, its name means "Sunlight" for the grapes left to ripen in the sun as per ancient tradition for a period of 7-10 days, this allows the aromas to concentrate in the berries and transfer them to this excellent sweet wine. The vinification involves alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature and aging for 12-14 months in French oak.
It has an intense red color with garnet hues. Fruity aromas of wild berries and strawberry jam arrive on the nose, finely mixed with spicy nuances of cinnamon, cloves and sweet hints of vanilla. The sip is full, with a marked acidity to balance the sweet note, full body and a long spicy finish to be savored.
It is recommended to combine it with very aged cheeses and cured meats; excellent with desserts.
