The Morellino di Scansano by Terenzi represents one of the most captivating expressions of the Maremma territory, a red wine that captures the essence of Tuscany in every sip. This 375ml bottle offers a rich tasting experience, also accessible to those who wish to enjoy wine in moderate quantities.

Terenzi's Morellino di Scansano DOCG is distinguished by its intense ruby red color with violet reflections, an indication of its youth and freshness. On the nose, lively aromas of cherry, blackberry, and spicy notes that hint at black pepper and subtle hints of vanilla emerge, a result of expert maturation in barrique.

In the mouth, the wine is soft on the entry, well balanced by a pleasant acidity and fine tannins that give structure and persistence. The Morellino di Scansano by Terenzi is capable of evolving elegantly over time, but is already ready to be enjoyed, offering a palate where fruit and spices blend into a long and pleasantly harmonious finish.

Suggested culinary pairings include dishes from traditional Tuscan cuisine such as pappardelle with wild boar or a bistecca alla fiorentina. It will also be an excellent companion for aged cheeses and grilled red meats.

Ideal for those looking for a wine with character and tradition, the Morellino di Scansano DOCG by Terenzi proves to be an excellent option, both for a casual dinner among friends and for more special occasions. A true gem from Maremma that promises to leave a memorable impression on its tasters.

Winery history
The Terenzi project originated from the family's investment in the Maremma. After Florio Terenzi's move to the countryside, noted as a family initiative since the 1990s, the operation was organised and developed commercially with the construction of the winery and the planting of new vineyards from 2001; today it is managed by the family, including Balbino, Federico and Francesca Romana.
Production philosophy
A pursuit of elegance and expressive clarity, with Sangiovese at the core and measured experimentation with white and international varieties. Vineyard work is oriented toward sustainability, cellar technology serves quality, and attention is paid to territorial identity.
Terroir and vineyards
Situated in the municipality of Scansano in the Tuscan Maremma, the estate benefits from sea breezes and well-drained clay soils. The vineyards extend across hills facing the sea, in a landscape also connected to local cultural projects.
