The Vermentino DOC by Balbino, produced by the renowned Terenzi winery, is one of the most authentic and refined expressions of this grape variety. Originating from Tuscany, Terenzi winery has managed to enhance the unique characteristics of Vermentino, transforming them into a wine that fully reflects the tradition and terroir of the region.

The Vermentino DOC - Balbino presents itself with a bright straw-yellow color, which anticipates its olfactory and gustatory qualities. On the nose, the bouquet is rich and complex, with fragrant notes of fresh fruit such as peach and melon, enriched by floral nuances and a light hint of aromatic herbs, typical of Vermentino.

On the palate, the wine fully convinces with its freshness and balanced salinity, confirming the presence of fruits and flowers already perceived on the nose. The structure is well-balanced, with a pleasant acidity leading to a persistent and aromatic finish.

Ideal as an aperitif, the Vermentino DOC - Balbino by Terenzi pairs beautifully with fish dishes, seafood, and vegetarian cuisine. It is also an excellent companion for delicate dishes like risottos and dishes featuring leafy green vegetables.

This wine not only reflects the dedication and passion of Terenzi winery for quality wine but also offers a taste experience reminiscent of the warm summer days of the Tuscan coast. A must for white wine lovers seeking something unique and distinctive.

Winery history
The Terenzi project originated from the family's investment in the Maremma. After Florio Terenzi's move to the countryside, noted as a family initiative since the 1990s, the operation was organised and developed commercially with the construction of the winery and the planting of new vineyards from 2001; today it is managed by the family, including Balbino, Federico and Francesca Romana.
Production philosophy
A pursuit of elegance and expressive clarity, with Sangiovese at the core and measured experimentation with white and international varieties. Vineyard work is oriented toward sustainability, cellar technology serves quality, and attention is paid to territorial identity.
Terroir and vineyards
Situated in the municipality of Scansano in the Tuscan Maremma, the estate benefits from sea breezes and well-drained clay soils. The vineyards extend across hills facing the sea, in a landscape also connected to local cultural projects.
