Sior Bruno is born from Glera grapes in the upper western Friuli plain. The cultivation soil is deep with no skeleton, clayey with basically fine silt, medium resistance to drought, with rows facing north-east.
The vinification involves a soft pneumatic pressing and separation of the juice from the draining. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 14-15°, with the second fermentation using the Charmat Method at a temperature of 15-16°. The slow fermentation aims to obtain a fine and persistent perlage, with a marked aroma. Maturation on the lees lasts 3-4 months with continuous battonage.
When poured, it has a pale yellow color with greenish reflections. the olfactory profile is intense, with citrus aromas of grapefruit and bergamot, followed by pleasant fruity hints of white peach and notes of acacia flowers. The sip is decidedly fresh, with never excessive acidity, the slender body is accompanied by a marked sapidity.
Perfect throughout the meal, especially with fish-based first courses, Sior bruno also goes perfectly with cruditè, fried fish and battered vegetables.
