This wine is produced in limited quantities and only in vintages that stand out for the superb quality of the grapes, following a rigorous selection of the best bunches.
With an intense ruby red color, featuring garnet reflections that develop with aging, the Rosso Riserva Del Fondatore offers a broad and complex olfactory bouquet. Notes of ripe red fruits blend with spicy accents of vanilla and black pepper, enriched by subtle hints of tobacco and dark chocolate that emerge with barrel aging.
On the palate, the wine is extraordinarily balanced: the entry is soft, almost velvety, with good acidity that helps to keep the taste sensations lively. The tannins are fine and well-integrated, supporting a solid structure that is never overpowering. The finish is long and persistent, echoing red fruits with a slight minerality that adds elegance to the whole.
