The Napanook in Magnum format from Napa Valley is a red wine of considerable prestige, produced by the historic Dominus Estate winery. This wine is conceived as a more accessible and ready-to-drink expression than its "big brother", the Dominus, while maintaining a level of quality and complexity that reflects the richness of the Napa Valley terroir. The choice of the Magnum format not only makes it a collector's item or the protagonist of special occasions but also contributes to its evolution over time, allowing the wine to mature more slowly and harmoniously.

Napanook is a blend of traditional Bordeaux vines, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, grown in the winery's own vineyards, which extend across the western part of the Napa Valley. The philosophy of Dominus Estate places great emphasis on respect for the terroir and the use of sustainable agricultural practices to enhance the natural expression of the vineyard.

Visually, Napanook presents itself with an intense and deep red color. On the nose, the wine offers a wide range of aromas ranging from ripe black fruit, such as blackberries and plums, to notes of aromatic herbs, chocolate and a light spiciness, the result of aging in barrique. The moderate use of new wood allows for the integration of complexity and structure without overpowering the intensity and purity of the fruit.

In the mouth, Napanook demonstrates an excellent structure, supported by ripe and well-integrated tannins, which give the wine a velvety texture. The balance between acidity and alcohol is impeccable, with a medium-full palate that flows into a long and persistent finish, characterized by a pleasant freshness and mineral notes that reflect the particular composition of the Napa Valley soil.

Ideal for tasting on special occasions, Napanook in Magnum format is also a wine that lends itself beautifully to ageing, being able to evolve and enrich itself with new aromatic nuances over the years. It pairs beautifully with red meat dishes, game and mature cheeses, offering a tasting experience that combines intensity, elegance and complexity.

The production of Napanook reflects Dominus Estate's commitment to creating wines that are a faithful expression of their terroir, maintaining high standards of quality and respect for the environment, thus testifying to the exceptional viticultural potential of Napa Valley.
