Trènel's Coteaux Bourguignons are a charming and accessible expression of Burgundy, a region renowned for its wines of exceptional quality and complexity. This relatively recent denomination was introduced to offer a broader vision of Burgundy's wine variety, allowing the use of a wider range of grape varieties than more restrictive denominations. Trènel, a winery with a long history and deeply rooted in the Burgundian tradition, uses this opportunity to create wines that reflect the elegance and diversity of the Burgundian terroir.

Trènel's Coteaux Bourguignons can include Gamay and Pinot Noir grapes for the reds and rosés, and Chardonnay and Aligoté for the whites, often resulting in fruity, fresh and immediately pleasant wines. This approach offers an accessible introduction to the complexity of Burgundian wines, while maintaining a high level of quality.

Visually, the Coteaux Bourguignons wines of Trènel present the typical colors of their vines, from the ruby red of the reds to the straw yellow of the whites. On the nose, the reds and rosés express lively aromas of red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, with possible floral and spicy notes, while the whites offer aromas of white pulp fruits, wild flowers and mineral touches, depending on the varietal composition and the winemaking techniques used.

In the mouth, the Coteaux Bourguignons of Trènel are characterized by a remarkable freshness, with a harmonious balance between acidity and fruitiness, which makes them extremely versatile in gastronomic combinations. Reds and rosés pair well with light dishes, appetizers and fresh cheeses, while whites can accompany fish, seafood and vegetable dishes.
