Livia Fontana's Barolo "Villero" DOC is one of the most noble and prestigious expressions of the Nebbiolo grape, coming from the renowned Villero area, in the heart of the Barolo territory. The Livia Fontana winery, with its long history and winemaking tradition, is dedicated to the production of wines that are an authentic expression of the terroir and the grape variety, combining traditional methods with modern techniques to guarantee the highest quality.

Barolo "Villero" stands out for its deep garnet red color, with orange reflections that develop with aging. On the nose, the wine offers a complex and layered bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, dried flowers, spices, tobacco and a light trace of leather, enriched by a subtle balsamic touch that adds elegance and depth to the olfactory profile.

In the mouth, the "Villero" reveals a powerful but balanced structure, with fine and well-integrated tannins that support a rich and complex body. The acidity, characteristic of Nebbiolo, is perfectly balanced, contributing to a vibrant and dynamic drink. The finish is long and persistent, with a return of the fruity and spicy notes perceived on the nose, which confirm the richness and complexity of the wine.

Ideal in combination with structured and tasty dishes, such as red meats, game, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses, Livia Fontana's Barolo "Villero" is also a meditation wine, capable of evolving and gaining further nuances of complexity with the years pass.
