Amorosa di Dicembre from Poli Distillery is an exceptional-quality Torcolato grappa with distinctive character, produced from the distillation of selected grape pomace from Vespaiola grapes used to make the esteemed Torcolato di Breganze. Poli Distillery, established in 1898, is renowned for its skill in crafting grappas with deep, rich nuances using traditional methods.
This grappa presents itself with a clear color and an elegant consistency in the glass. The distillation process follows an ancient and gentle method, preserving the original fragrances of the grapes and enriching the distillate with complex and enveloping aromatic notes. On the nose, Amorosa di Dicembre immediately reveals its complexity, offering aromas of candied fruit, honey, and hints of vanilla and toasted almond—a result of a brief aging in wooden barrels that delicately refines its profile.
