The Vin Santo del Chianti DOC produced by Fattoria dei Barbi is an authentic expression of the Tuscan territory, a traditional sweet wine that has emerged from a long history of passion and dedication to viticulture. This 375 ml bottle encapsulates the essence of carefully selected grapes, mainly Trebbiano and Malvasia, which are gently dried on racks before beginning their long process of fermentation and maturation.

The color is intensely golden, with hues ranging from amber to topaz, indicating its richness and concentration achieved through the drying process. On the nose, Vin Santo del Chianti from Fattoria dei Barbi offers a complex and enveloping bouquet, with dominant notes of dried apricot, figs, chestnut honey, and a slight hint of toasted almond, all enveloped by a light veil of sweet spices such as vanilla and cinnamon.

On the palate, this wine is distinguished by its perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, resulting in a pleasant freshness that balances its inherent richness. The aromatic complexity is also reflected on the palate, with a return of the fruity and spicy sensations experienced on the nose, blending into a long and persistent finish.

Vin Santo del Chianti DOC - Fattoria dei Barbi can be enjoyed alone as a meditation wine or paired with traditional desserts, such as Tuscan cantucci, where the contrast between sweet and crunchy creates a peerless taste experience. It is also excellent with blue cheeses or foie gras, for a memorable flavor encounter. Certainly, a wine that deserves attention for special occasions or as a significant gift for lovers of sweet and complex wines.
