The Don PX Gran Reserva by Bodegas Toro Albalá is an extraordinary sweet wine, emblematic of the Montilla-Moriles designation. Produced exclusively from Pedro Ximénez grapes, this wine undergoes a sun-drying process before fermentation, which concentrates sugars and flavors, resulting in an aromatic profile of unparalleled richness.

Through an aging process of at least 25 years in oak barrels, the Don PX Gran Reserva acquires an impenetrable dark color and a palate that perfectly balances confectionery density with surprising freshness. Notes of dates, molasses, dark chocolate, and coffee emerge both on the nose and palate, complex and enveloping. Its texture is velvety, with a long and persistent finish that leaves an indelible impression.

This wine is magnificently appreciated as a digestif or paired with chocolate desserts or aged cheeses. It represents a true triumph of Montilla-Moriles enology, encapsulating the history and passion of Bodegas Toro Albalá.

Winery history
