The Verdeca Alture Salento IGP by Paolo Leo is a white wine that celebrates the elegance and freshness of the Verdeca grape, native to the Puglia region in southern Italy. This wine stands out for its delicate aromatic profile and its extraordinary ability to represent the unique terroir of Salento.

In appearance, it presents a light straw yellow color with greenish highlights that suggest its freshness. The nose is greeted with a bouquet of aromas ranging from green apple to acacia flower, with a light note of fresh almond adding complexity.

On the palate, the Verdeca Alture Salento IGP offers a smooth, almost silky entry, thanks to a perfect balance between acidity and minerality. Fresh fruit dominates the scene, with hints of citrus and herbal notes merging into a clean and persistent finish.

This wine is ideal as an aperitif, but it shows its true potential when paired with fish dishes, seafood, or light appetizers. Even vegetable-based preparations like fresh salads or vegetarian dishes find an ideal table companion in the Verdeca Alture.

The Paolo Leo winery, with its dedication to enhancing local grape varieties and sustainability, has managed to create a wine that not only delights the palate but also tells the story of its territory. The Verdeca Alture Salento IGP is an authentic expression of Puglia, capable of winning over wine lovers in search of freshness and authenticity.
