Broglio represents one of the company's crus located in the municipality of Serralunga, on soil characterized by clay and silt, at an altitude of approximately 360 metres. The winemaking follows a traditional approach, with a minimum aging period of 3 years in 20-40 hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels. This wine embodies the essence of tradition, maximizing the characteristics of the Serralunga soil and offering remarkable finesse with a long finish.
Barolo Broglio presents itself as a warm and full-bodied wine. The garnet red color with orange reflections is characteristic, and on the nose it manifests itself with a complexity of floral and spicy aromas. Elements such as licorice, leather and dried rose dominate, with a balsamic finish that pleasantly accompanies drinking. The freshness of the wine is evident, with vibrant and sweet tannins contributing to a remarkable final persistence.
It is particularly suited to accompanying dishes of a certain depth and gastronomic complexity, such as grilled meats, stews, braised meats and mature cheeses.
