The 2013 vintage inaugurates the entry of an important piece in the company's product catalog, a Barolo that was able to show its best already at a young age.
The harvest takes place in the first and second ten days of October. Subsequently the grapes are fermented in thermocontrolled tanks for 15 days to then pass 10-15 days of post-fermentation maceration with submerged cap. The refinement takes place in large barrels for 24 months. Filtration is not used.
A chalice that is colored ruby red with light garnet reflections. In the mouth the texture is dense and silky, the harmonic structure envelops the palate with soft and persuasive tannins, making the taste buds remember for a long time. The nose is intoxicated by a range of intense aromas of violets, pinks and small red fruits, with a slightly balsamic finish.
A red with a penetrating and seductive aroma, excellent to sip and savor slowly as a meditation wine without pairing with food. On the table, on the other hand, it is ideal to accompany game dishes, red meats, roasts, risottos, savory first courses and aged cheeses.
