Produced by the historic Sandeman house, founded in 1790, this variety of Porto stands out for its harmonious balance and versatility.
The winemaking process follows the traditional methods of the Douro region in Portugal, with a careful selection of the best white grapes. Fermentation is stopped by the addition of wine alcohol, thus preserving the natural sugar of the grapes which gives this sweet wine its distinctive character.
Visually, the Sandeman White Porto presents a light straw yellow color, often enriched with golden reflections that catch the eye. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet ranging from notes of ripe fruit, such as apricot and peach, to nuances of dried fruit and delicate floral essences.
On the palate, it is caressed by an elegant sweetness, well-balanced by a lively acidity that brings freshness to the sip. The fruity notes blend with a touch of almond and vanilla, leading to a long and pleasantly persistent finish.
