Domaines Schlumberger's Riesling Grand Cru "Kitterlé" is a masterful exemplification of how exceptional terroir combined with precision viticulture and winemaking can produce a wine of extraordinary complexity and depth. Located in Alsace, Domaines Schlumberger has one of the largest wine-growing properties in the region, with a long history that demonstrates its dedication and commitment to creating wines of the highest quality.

The Kitterlé vineyard is renowned for its unique soil, characterized by sandstone, volcanic and shale, which together with a particularly sunny and well-ventilated position, gives the Riesling grown in this area unmistakable characteristics. This specificity of the soil ensures a marked minerality and an aromatic concentration which are beautifully reflected in the Riesling Grand Cru "Kitterlé".

The careful and environmentally friendly work, which includes sustainable practices in the vineyard and careful monitoring of the grapes until harvesting, allows us to select Riesling bunches in a perfect state of ripeness. Winemaking is managed to preserve the purity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir, with slow fermentation helping to develop the complexity and structure of the wine.

Visually, the Riesling Grand Cru "Kitterlé" presents itself with a brilliant golden yellow color, a sign of its richness and intensity. On the nose, the wine reveals a wide spectrum of aromas: notes of white pulp fruit, such as peach and apple, citrus accents, floral nuances and that distinctive "smoky" minerality that characterizes wines from volcanic and shale soils. These aromas are enriched by touches of honey and spices, the result of the evolution of the wine.

In the mouth, the Riesling Grand Cru "Kitterlé" demonstrates an extraordinary tension between acidity and body, with a texture that perfectly balances the richness of the fruit with a lively freshness. Distinctive minerality pervades the palate, accompanied by intense and persistent flavors that echo the olfactory bouquet, leading to a long and memorable finish.

Ideal in combination with refined dishes, such as fish and seafood, white meat dishes and soft cheeses, the Riesling Grand Cru "Kitterlé" by Domaines Schlumberger is also an excellent meditation wine, which invites you to explore depth and complexity that only great wines can offer.

With its Riesling Grand Cru "Kitterlé", Domaines Schlumberger confirms its role as ambassador of Alsace winemaking, presenting a wine that is a tribute to the richness of its terroir and the craftsmanship that characterizes every phase of its production.
