Barolo DOCG - Mosconi Vigna Ped - Conterno Fantino represents an interpretation of exceptional quality of one of the most famous Italian wines, ranking as one of the highest expressions of Nebbiolo in the Barolo area. Produced by the renowned Conterno Fantino winery, located in the heart of the Langhe, this label stands out for its origin from the specific parcels of the "Mosconi" vineyard, located in the hamlet of Monforte d'Alba, known for its rich soils and the favorable microclimate that enhance the varietal characteristics of Nebbiolo.

The "Mosconi Vigna Ped" reflects the innovative and at the same time respectful approach to the traditions of Conterno Fantino, combining cutting-edge winemaking techniques with the care and attention typical of artisanal production. This Barolo is the result of a careful selection of grapes, controlled fermentation and long aging in wood, which helps to develop the complexity and structure that characterize the best Barolos.

Visually, the wine has an intense garnet red color, with reflections that tend towards orange with aging. On the nose, it offers a rich and complex aromatic profile, where notes of ripe red fruits, dried flowers, tobacco, spices and a light balsamic touch emerge, a sign of the high quality of the grapes and the mastery of winemaking.

On the palate, Barolo DOCG Mosconi Vigna Ped reveals itself to be powerful but harmonious, with finely crafted tannins that give structure and depth to the wine, balanced by a lively acidity that guarantees freshness and longevity. The gustatory complexity reflects the olfactory sensations, enriching itself with mineral and earthy nuances typical of the Monforte d'Alba terroir, leading to a long and persistent finish.

Ideal in combination with rich and structured dishes, such as red meats, game and mature cheeses, the Barolo Mosconi Vigna Ped by Conterno Fantino is also a meditation wine, which invites a slow tasting to fully appreciate its richness and elegance.
