The Negroamaro IGT from Cantina A Mano is an exquisitely representative sample of the elegance and robustness that characterize the red wines of Southern Italy. This wine is produced in the IGT (Typical Geographical Indication) Puglia, a region known for its ideal climate that enhances the organoleptic qualities of this grape variety.

With its deep ruby-red color and shades that shift to violet as it matures, Cantina A Mano's Negroamaro offers a complex and enveloping bouquet on the nose. There are notes of wild berries like blackberries and raspberries, intertwined with spicy nuances and a light touch of vanilla, deriving from the aging in wood.

On the palate, the wine is generous and well-structured. The balance between acidity and tannins is masterful, making this Negroamaro pleasantly persistent and harmonious. The fruity notes recognized on the nose are confirmed and enriched with hints of chocolate and tobacco, resulting in a complex taste evolution.

This wine is ideal to accompany dishes of Mediterranean cuisine, such as roast red meat, lamb-based dishes, and aged cheeses. It is recommended to be served at a temperature of 18°C to fully appreciate its qualities.

Cantina A Mano, with its Negroamaro IGT, celebrates the passion and the winemaking tradition of Puglia, offering a wine of great character and pleasantness, capable of captivating both the palate of connoisseurs and novices. With each sip, this wine tells the story of a rich and generous territory, making it an excellent choice for any special occasion.

Winery history
The project began with the meeting of Californian viticulturist and winemaker Mark Shannon and Italian manager Elvezia Sbalchiero: they met in Sicily and shortly after moved to Apulia to begin their winemaking activity. The winery is known for its artisanal approach and its focus on manual work in the vineyard and winery; many producer profiles date the brand’s founding to the late 1990s.
Production philosophy
Artisanal production with hand harvesting and minimal intervention in the vineyard and cellar; strong focus on local varieties and on conveying the transparency of the territory. The winery declares practices aimed at preserving the natural character of the blends and carries a self‑certification "Vegan friendly" for some lines, avoiding invasive winemaking techniques.
