The Barolo Riserva DOCG "Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia" is a work of oenological art, representing the excellence of the Nebbiolo grape grown in one of the most prestigious areas of Piedmont, the Bussia of Monforte d'Alba. This Barolo Riserva is the result of a scrupulous selection of the best Nebbiolo grapes, coming from the renowned "Pianpolvere Soprano" vineyard, an exceptional terroir that gives the wine unique characteristics of depth and complexity.

The "Pianpolvere Soprano" is known for its particularly rich and complex soil, which, together with an ideal microclimate, contributes to giving the Nebbiolo a distinctive aromatic intensity and tannic structure. The Riserva denomination indicates that the wine has undergone a long period of aging, both in barrel and in bottle, before being released on the market. This prolonged maturation process allows the wine to develop a rich and layered aromatic bouquet, as well as guaranteeing a balance and softness of tannins that only the great Barolos can offer.

During refinement, which usually takes place in large oak barrels, the Barolo Riserva "Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia" acquires notes of additional complexity, including accents of spice, leather, tobacco and subtle vanilla, which integrate harmoniously with the natural expressions of ripe red fruits and withered flowers typical of Nebbiolo.

When tasted, Barolo Riserva stands out for its elegant power, with a solid but refined tannic structure and a well-balanced acidity that contributes to a notable length and persistence in the mouth. The palate is enveloping, rich in flavors ranging from cherry and ripe plum to earthy and mineral nuances, with a long and intensely flavored finish that testifies to the superior quality and aging potential of the wine.

Ideal as a meditation wine or paired with rich and structured dishes, such as roast meat, game and mature cheeses, the Barolo Riserva "Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia" is a true treasure for wine enthusiasts, which embodies the quintessence of tradition Piedmont winemaking and the sublime expression of Nebbiolo.
