Camp Gros Martinenga Barbaresco DOCG - Magnum by Marchesi di Gresy represents one of the most prestigious examples of Barbaresco, a Piedmontese red wine of great elegance and complexity. Produced in a 1.5 liter magnum format, this wine is ideal for special occasions, offering greater aging capacity and an even richer tasting experience.

Marchesi di Gresy, a historic estate located in the heart of the Langhe, an area of Piedmont renowned for the production of some of the best Italian wines, is known for its dedication to creating wines that best express the terroir and the Nebbiolo grape, from where Barbaresco was born. The Camp Gros vineyard, located in the famous Martinenga area, is particularly appreciated for its unique location and its ideal microclimate, which allows it to produce wines of extraordinary depth and longevity.

The winemaking of Camp Gros follows traditional methods, with long fermentation and maceration to extract maximum colour, aromas and tannic structure from the Nebbiolo. The refinement takes place in oak barriques, where the wine further develops its complexity, harmoniously integrating the fruity flavors with notes of spices, tobacco and leather.

At sight, Camp Gros Martinenga Barbaresco presents itself with an intense garnet red color, a sign of its richness and intensity. On the nose, the wine reveals a complex and seductive bouquet, with aromas of ripe red fruits, dried flowers, sweet spices and a hint of wet earth, typical of the best Nebbiolos.

In the mouth, the wine is powerful but balanced, with fine tannins and a solid structure that promises excellent aging potential. The acidity is well integrated, supporting a palate rich in flavors that reflect the olfactory bouquet, and leading to a long and persistent finish, with a pleasant mineral vein.

Ideal in combination with rich and tasty dishes, such as red meats, game, mushrooms and mature cheeses, Camp Gros Martinenga Barbaresco DOCG by Marchesi di Gresy is a wine that celebrates the greatness of Barbaresco's Nebbiolo, offering a tasting experience that remains impressed in memory.
