The Pommard Premier Cru "Les Rugiens" by Domaines Faiveley is a red wine of exceptional finesse and depth, which represents one of the jewels of the production of Faiveley, a historic Burgundy winery with a tradition dating back to 1825. Located in the prestigious Côte de Beaune , the "Les Rugiens" vineyard is considered one of the best Premier Crus of Pommard, known for producing wines of extraordinary complexity and aging capacity.

The particularity of "Les Rugiens" comes from its unique terroir, with soils rich in iron and limestone, which give the wine a distinctive tannic structure and rich minerality. Faiveley manages these vineyards with a rigorous commitment to sustainable viticulture, ensuring that every stage of the production process, from vineyard to cellar, is conducted with the utmost respect for the land and the wine itself.

The vinification of "Les Rugiens" is carried out with great care, using techniques that emphasize the pure expression of the terroir and the Pinot Noir grape variety. The refinement in French oak barriques, some of which are new, adds layers of aromatic complexity, perfectly balancing the potential of the fruit with the nuances imparted by the wood.

In appearance, the Pommard Premier Cru "Les Rugiens" shows an intense and deep ruby red color. On the nose, it opens with a complex and seductive bouquet, which ranges from notes of ripe red and black fruits to nuances of spices, leather and a wet earth, typical of the best expression of Pommard. The ferrous minerality, a distinctive feature of the "Les Rugiens" terroir, permeates the aromatic profile, adding depth and character.

In the mouth, the wine reveals an extraordinary concentration and an elegant tannic structure, with a velvety texture that envelops the palate. The balance between the power of the fruit, the well-integrated acidity and the minerality gives "Les Rugiens" an impressive dynamism and length, with a persistent finish that leaves memories of ripe fruit, sweet spices and a light toasted note.

Ideal in combination with rich and tasty dishes, such as red meats, mushroom dishes and mature cheeses, the Pommard Premier Cru "Les Rugiens" by Domaines Faiveley is a wine that promises to evolve magnificently over the years, becoming increasingly harmonious and complex .

Through "Les Rugiens", Domaines Faiveley celebrates the excellence of Pinot Noir in Burgundy, offering a wine that is a true tribute to the richness of its terroir and the winery's mastery in creating wines of profound expressiveness and longevity.
