The Peperosa Umbria IGT Rosato from the Cesarini Sartori winery is an enchanting rosé wine that encapsulates the elegance and freshness typical of Umbrian wines. Produced from indigenous grape varieties of the region, this rosé stands out for its vivid and luminous color, which promises a refined and pleasantly persistent aromatic and tasting experience.

On the nose, Peperosa offers a rich bouquet of fresh red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries, intertwined with hints of wildflowers and a slight herbal touch. These aromas are perfectly balanced, creating an olfactory profile that is as inviting as it is complex.

In the mouth, the wine presents a vibrant freshness that is typical of fresh and youthful rosés. The acidity is well-balanced and supports a medium-light palate that carries the flavors anticipated by the nose, enriched by a slight minerality that gives the wine a pleasant sapidity.

The finish of Peperosa is clean and refreshing, with a persistence that leaves a pleasantly fruity aftertaste, making it an ideal companion for a variety of dishes. It pairs beautifully with light appetizers, fish-based or chicken dishes, and is particularly suitable as an aperitif.

The Peperosa Umbria IGT Rosato from Cesarini Sartori is, therefore, an excellent example of how local grape varieties can be masterfully transformed into wines that reflect the authenticity and tradition of the territory, while maintaining a freshness and liveliness that invites conviviality and sharing.

Winery history
The estate was established through the commitment of the Cesarini Sartori family: Luciano Cesarini, Giuseppe Cesarini and Fiorella Sartori left previous careers in the late 1990s to return to rural life and focus on viticulture in Bastardo. It also develops circular-economy projects and applied research in collaboration with universities and a start-up dedicated to adding value to vine residues.
