The Pinot Grigio Venezia DOC from De Stefani winery represents an excellent example of how the Venetian terroir can express itself through an international grape variety with surprising results. This wine is produced with 100% Pinot Grigio grapes, carefully selected from vineyards located in an ideal area for this grape variety, characterized by a temperate climate and soils that confer the wine a distinct minerality and pleasant freshness.
The winemaking process follows traditional methods with a touch of modernity, including a brief cold maceration to enhance the typical fruity and floral aromas of Pinot Grigio. The wine is then briefly aged in stainless steel to preserve its freshness and vitality.
Visually, the Pinot Grigio Venezia DOC presents a light straw color with bright reflections. On the nose, it reveals a delicate yet complex bouquet, with notes of ripe pear, green apple, and floral nuances, enriched by slight touches of fresh almond.
