An enological gem born in the heart of Umbria, the "Anima Umbra Rosso IGT" is an authentic expression of the terroir of this region, produced by the renowned Arnaldo Caprai winery. This wine is a harmonious blend of primarily Sangiovese grapes, expertly integrated with local varieties that add complexity and a distinctive character.

The winemaking follows traditional methods, with extended maceration allowing for excellent color and tannin extraction. This is followed by ageing in oak barrels, which smooth the edges and enrich the wine with subtle woody notes, while still preserving the freshness of the grapes.

Visually, the "Anima Umbra Rosso" displays a deep ruby red color, promising a solid structure. The nose reveals intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, with hints of spices and a light touch of vanilla and leather, a result of its elegant passage through wood. On the palate, the wine is robust yet harmonious, with well-integrated tannins and a pleasant lingering that leaves room for nuances of fruit and spices in the aftertaste.

Ideal paired with dishes rich in red meats, game, and aged cheeses, the "Anima Umbra Rosso IGT" by Arnaldo Caprai is a wine that best expresses itself at a serving temperature of about 18°C, capable of interesting evolution even after several years of aging.

A must for lovers of robust and structured wines, this wine embodies the soul of Umbria, a land rich in history and winemaking tradition.
