The Barbaresco DOCG Riserva Albesani Santo Stefano in Magnum format produced by Castello di Neive is a testimony to Piedmontese wine excellence, fully expressing the nobility and complexity of Nebbiolo. The Magnum format, equivalent to two standard 750 ml bottles, is not only a symbol of celebration and sharing, but is also considered ideal for aging wine, allowing a slower and more harmonious evolution of aromas and flavors.

The Albesani Santo Stefano Riserva comes from the vineyard of the same name, located in one of the most prized areas of the Barbaresco area. This specific location benefits from a unique microclimate and soil particularly suited to the cultivation of Nebbiolo, allowing the production of wines of extraordinary depth and character. The Castello di Neive, with its historic dedication to the quality and expression of the terroir, takes care of every phase of production, from the manual harvest to the careful selection of the grapes, up to the vinification and aging in wood.

The refinement process, which extends over a significantly long period in oak barrels, is crucial in giving the wine that complexity and character that only the best Barbarescos can boast. The maturation in wood enriches the wine with aromatic nuances, perfectly blending the fruity and floral notes with the spicy and balsamic ones, and making the tannins softer and velvety.

To the eye, Barbaresco Riserva Albesani Santo Stefano has an intense garnet red color, which tends towards orange with the passing of the years. The bouquet is complex and seductive, with aromas of cherry, dried rose, tobacco, spices and a subtle mineral note, typical of the high expression of Nebbiolo. In the mouth, the wine is powerful yet elegant, with a perfect integration between acidity and tannins, leading to a long and persistent finish, a hallmark of its high quality and aging potential.

Ideal for accompanying rich and structured dishes, such as red meats, game, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses, the Magnum format of the Barbaresco DOCG Riserva Albesani Santo Stefano is perfect for special occasions, offering not only an unforgettable tasting experience, but also a moment of sharing and celebration.
