The Cabernet Sauvignon IGT - Pura Terra BIO by Piera Martellozzo is a red wine that elegantly expresses the intrinsic qualities of one of the world's most renowned grape varieties, cultivated according to the principles of organic farming. This wine comes from the fertile lands of Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region distinguished by its ability to produce high-quality wines thanks to an ideal microclimate and well-balanced soils.

Visually, the Cabernet Sauvignon Pura Terra BIO presents a deep ruby red color, promising an intense sensory experience right from the first glance. On the nose, classic notes of red fruits such as cassis and blueberries are discernible, along with the herbaceous accents typical of the Cabernet variety, complemented by hints of black pepper and a subtle vein of vanilla, deriving from the aging period in barrique.

On the palate, the wine reveals itself to be structured and complex. The entrance is robust yet balanced, featuring mature and well-integrated tannins that lead to a persistent and harmonious finish. The acidity is balanced, contributing to a freshness that entices you to take another sip.

The Cabernet Sauvignon Pura Terra BIO by Piera Martellozzo is ideal for pairing with grilled red meats, rich stews, and aged cheeses. It is also an excellent candidate for aging, capable of evolving and gaining further flavor nuances in the coming years.

This wine is not just an excellence for the palate but also a sign of commitment towards sustainability, representing a conscious choice for wine lovers who value environmental respect.

Winery history
The company’s history dates back to the late 19th century, with the first generation of the Martellozzo family active in 1899 in the province of Padua. In the 1990s Piera, of the third generation, took the helm of the business, began re-evaluating indigenous grape varieties and launched its first organic line. In the early 2000s the headquarters were consolidated in San Quirino, in the Friuli Grave area, serving as the starting point for expansion into national and international markets.
Production philosophy
The estate combines respect for the land with an innovative approach: careful selection of well‑suited vineyard parcels, the production of wines that reflect the local territory, and a focus on sustainable practices through measures such as photovoltaic systems, lightweight packaging, water reuse and careful selection of label materials.
Terroir and vineyards
Primarily operating in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with ties to the Triveneto region; the wines are an expression of gravelly soils and a microclimate tempered by the Adriatic and sheltered by the mountains to the north.
