Cantina Bertani, an old winery that originated in 1857. Let's talk about who, perhaps, even invented Amarone.
A wine that is obtained from the second fermentation, called ripasso. The young vintage Valpolicella is in fact put to referment on the still slightly sweet skins of the Amarone. The wine is then aged in barrels of 30, 54 and 75 hectoliters and concrete tanks of 100 hectoliters and once bottled, it remains there for 3 months for aging.
A red that in the glass has an intense ruby color, and is characterized by extremely seductive hints that they guarantee a large and elegant bouquet, defined by fruity notes of cherries and undergrowth, enriched by spicy and chocolate sensations.
On the palate, it denotes sapidity and body at the first sip, and the presence of a captivating tannin. A wine with a long, fruity and persistent finish that will certainly not disappoint. An enveloping and at the same time harmonious drink, excellent to accompany dishes based on meat, game, roasts and aged cheeses.
