Official website
The story
The winery has been active since the 1950s and is centered around its winemaking facility in Alice Bel Colle, near Acqui Terme. Official and specialist sources describe Ca' Bianca as a reality rooted in the Piedmont territory and now part of the Tenimenti/Ca' Bianca project of Gruppo Italiano Vini. Some sources indicate the start of operations in the early 1950s; descriptions nonetheless agree on the estate’s historical presence and the winery’s growth throughout the 20th century.
Production philosophy
Production aims to showcase local grape varieties and the region’s appellations with an approach that combines tradition and modern winemaking techniques. The winery also offers wines dedicated to local specialties and more contemporary expressions such as Langhe Nebbiolo and Roero Arneis.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the hills of Alto Monferrato, the estate benefits from hillside exposures well suited to the area's typical grape varieties. The winery produces wines under local appellations such as Barbera d'Asti, Dolcetto d'Acqui, Gavi, Moscato d'Asti and Brachetto d'Acqui, as well as wines from the Langhe and the Roero.
