Winery history Diebolt-Vallois

The Diebolt family has been present in Cramant since the late 19th century. Sources indicate that Jacques Diebolt was active in the village from 1959; with his marriage to Nadia Vallois the Diebolt‑Vallois name took shape and the estate developed over time, later passing to subsequent generations. The house became known for quality cuvées, in particular the Fleur de Passion, produced in vintages judged excellent and often vinified using traditional methods.

Production philosophy

Strong focus on the terroir of the Côte des Blancs and on highlighting Chardonnay; a cellar style oriented to low dosage, respect for traditional practices in the flagship cuvées and limited-scale production to emphasize the quality and identity of the vineyards.

Terroir and vineyards

Based in Cramant in the Côte des Blancs, with grapes also coming from nearby villages such as Cuis and Chouilly and from selected parcels in the Mesnil area; the Pinot grapes destined for the cuvées come from parcels on the Montagne de Reims and in some areas of the Côte des Bar, as described by the house.
