Winery Giovanni Poli S. Massenza

The Poli family has been linked for centuries to the traditions of distillation and viticulture in Santa Massenza: local sources connect the Poli ancestors to the historical presence of stills in the community and to the artisanal practice of grappa. Today the family's operation combines this heritage with local wine production from vineyards in the Valle dei Laghi.

The estate prioritizes quality over quantity, operating on a small scale with careful attention to the land. The vineyards are cultivated according to sustainability principles, and distillation is still carried out using artisanal methods to preserve the aromas of the pomace.

Valle dei Laghi is a microzone characterized by the moderating influence of Lake Garda; the vineyards are situated on the hills around the lakes and benefit from a microclimate favorable to the cultivation of Nosiola and other local varieties.

The Vino Santo Trentino passito di Nosiola produced in the area is identified as a Slow Food Presidium.
