Winery Tenuta Pandolfa

Estate with centuries-old roots (present “more or less since the 1500s”). The estate villa was built between 1731 and 1763; Commander Giuseppe Ricci purchased the property in 1941. In recent years family-led projects (Noelia Ricci, started in the 2010s) have relaunched production with a focus on Sangiovese.

Approach focused on care for the land, rediscovery of traditional agricultural practices and a move toward more sustainable management (the estate's wines are presented as sustainable/BIO in product sheets).

Location: Fiumana di Predappio (Predappio subzone, Forlì-Cesena). Elevation reported for some vineyards: 150–200 m asl (other sources note hills 80–250 m). Soil type: brown clay-limestone. Main grape: 100% Sangiovese (multiple clones). Technical example (Pandolfo): vines planted 1999; 4,500 vines/ha; yield 5,000 kg/ha; declared production for Pandolfo ≈ 20,000 bottles.
