Producer history Inchgower Distillery

Founded in 1871 to replace the Tochineal Distillery; liquidated in 1903. Purchased by Buckie Council in 1936 and transferred to Arthur Bell & Sons in 1938. Arthur Bell later became part of the corporate lineage that, through acquisitions and mergers (Guinness/UDV), formed Diageo.
