The Inchgower 27 Years Special Releases 2018, presented in a 70 cl case, is restrained and balanced. In the glass it shows a bright appearance with amber highlights; on the nose it opens with notes of ripe fruit, citrus peel and light spice, accompanied by vanilla and wood nuances that are well integrated. The profile is balanced, the aromatic structure evolves slowly, revealing sweet recalls and a measured tannic underpinning. The alcohol is present with subtlety, without overwhelming the olfactory range.

On the palate it displays a soft structure and respectable persistence, suitable as a contemplative dram or to conclude a meal. It is recommended to serve it in a tulip glass at room temperature or slightly cool to appreciate its complexity; a few drops of water can further open the aromas. The presentation case also makes it appropriate as a refined gift or for collectors interested in special releases.
