Producer history Poggio della Dogana

Project started in 2016 by brothers Aldo and Paolo Rametta; the estate covers about 20 hectares on the hills of Castrocaro Terme and Brisighella. Labels reference sketches by their great‑great‑grandfather Silvio Gordini, and some wine names recall the family’s racehorses.

Production philosophy

Organic and sustainable viticulture, respect for the territory and enhancement of native grapes (notably Sangiovese) to express the soils and microclimate of Romagna.

Territory

Vineyards on the hills of Castrocaro Terme and Brisighella (Romagna, Emilia‑Romagna) at 180–300 m elevation; varied soils including brown/ochre clays and influence from the Adriatic breeze.
