The right importance is not usually given to Rosé; it is thought in the vernacular that this attractive rose is just a mixture of red and white grapes; but wait to be able to taste and savor this wine in a meal or an appetizer, and you can also re-evaluate the rosé wines.

The nose is pervaded by the smells of a bouquet of flowers including a fruity note of currant and wisteria, wild strawberry and gooseberry. The grape variety of origin shows a decisive note in the aftertaste, which identifies its origin.

Perfect in combination with White Meat, Fresh Cheese and Fish, or in an appetizer.

The Cellar and the Estate

Since the end of the 1800s, the Ricossa family owned a renowned distillery on the outskirts of Asti, in Piedmont.
After 100 years, Ricossa continues to transmit its centuries-old tradition through the production of wines recognized all over the world.
The vineyards, covering over 120 hectares, are located in the most suitable areas of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, whose heart is located in Castel Boglione (Province of Asti) and it is here that we can find the Tenuta Ca 'Dei Mandorli.
This area is considered by many to be one of the best due to its natural sun exposure thanks to its location on the southern side of the valley.
The wines that derive from it thanks to its exposure, and to the extremely sandy soil, the estate offers wines with ample, intense, elegant charm, with great structure, but fresh and velvety, with a long and silky finish.

Winery history
The brand's roots lie in the Asti area: the family has origins linked to a distillery dating back to the late 19th century, and the Ricossa name has been known since the early 20th century. The modern production identity has been consolidated around Tenuta Ca' dei Mandorli, with a new winery and the development of a collection of classic Piedmontese wines over recent decades, and a relaunch of the brand beginning in the last decade with integration into the Argea/Mondodelvino group.
Production philosophy
Interpreting classic Piedmontese grape varieties through a contemporary lens, showcasing the terroir with Barbera as the primary reference, and offering approachable wines for everyday consumption without losing the connection to the region’s historic appellations.
