This exclusive Pinot Nero, locally known as Blauburgunder, comes from the renowned Alto Adige region, specifically from the picturesque Venosta Valley. The unique microclimate of this valley, characterized by cool breezes and significant temperature variations, contributes to the wine's delicate aromatics and freshness, while the rich and varied soil adds a complex and nuanced structure.

The Himmelreich from this winery is distinguished by its elegant ruby red color which heralds a bouquet rich in nuances. On the nose, there are notes of wild berries, ripe cherry, and a light touch of vanilla, due to aging in barrique. The palate is soft yet structured, with a pleasant acidic streak that perfectly balances with the silky tannins. The finish is lingering, with a return of the fruity notes and a light spiciness.

Ideal to be served at a temperature of 16-18°C, this Pinot Nero pairs beautifully with sophisticated dishes such as beef fillets in red wine sauce, but is equally delicious with a selection of aged cheeses. A wine that promises to evolve beautifully, offering immediate drinkability as well as great aging potential.

The Himmelreich is more than just a wine; it is a true expression of the Venosta Valley terroir, expressed with elegance and character in every glass. A must for lovers of Pinot Nero looking for a wine with a distinct identity and a captivating story.
