The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG "Rhetico" from the Bolla winery is a wine that embodies the greatness and tradition of Valpolicella. This Amarone, one of the most appreciated and well-known Italian wines in the world, is produced with a selection of dried grapes, which give the wine a unique richness and complexity.
Visually, Rhetico presents a deep garnet red color, a first indication of its intensity. On the nose, the wine releases a rich and enveloping bouquet, with intense aromas of ripe fruit, such as cherries in alcohol and plums, accompanied by notes of chocolate, tobacco and sweet spices, a reflection of its maturation in wood.
On the palate, Amarone Rhetico is a wine of extraordinary power and elegance. The tannins are present but soft and well harmonized, the acidity is well balanced, and intense flavors of ripe fruit, chocolate and spices are perceived, with a long and persistent finish that leaves a pleasant aftertaste.
