The Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Pietro Dal Cero, presented in an elegant wooden case, is an enological gem produced by the renowned winery Ca' dei Frati. This wine is an excellent example of the winemaking expertise of the company, located in the heart of Valpolicella, one of Italy's most prestigious wine regions.

The production of this Amarone follows the traditional method, where the Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes are left to dry for several months before pressing, intensifying the flavors and concentrating the sugars. This process imparts a robust structure and aromatic complexity to the wine that captivates the palate.

On the nose, the Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Pietro Dal Cero offers a sumptuous bouquet of ripe red fruits, dried plums, and hints of sweet spices such as vanilla and chocolate, derived from aging in French oak barriques. On the palate, the wine reveals itself to be magnificently balanced, with a rich tannic texture that harmoniously blends with a lively acidity, leading to a long and persistent finish.

Serving this Amarone at a temperature of about 18-20°C allows full appreciation of its range of flavors. It is the ideal accompaniment for hearty dishes such as braised meats, stews, roasted meats, and aged cheeses. It is a wine that promises to evolve beautifully with aging, making it an excellent choice for collectors and wine enthusiasts looking for a bottle to treasure in their cellar for special occasions.

This exclusive edition in a wooden case also makes the wine a prestigious gift for any wine lover, offering an elegant and impactful presentation.

Winery history
The estate is documented as far back as 1782, and its present course took shape when Felice Dal Cero moved to Lugana di Sirmione in 1939. The Dal Cero family progressively bottled and promoted Lugana; in 1969 Pietro Dal Cero took part in the establishment of the appellation by bottling its first label. Today the estate is managed by succeeding generations of the family, who carry on production and activities tied to the local area.
Production philosophy
Careful work in the vineyard and cellar, with separate vinifications for each vineyard to capture the different expressions of the terroir. The estate declares respect for the raw material, up-to-date techniques and carefully planned ageing to produce wines with integrity and longevity.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate's main vineyards are concentrated in the Lugana di Sirmione area and around the tower of San Martino della Battaglia on Lake Garda; in the early 2000s the estate also acquired approximately 11 hectares in Valpolicella, where the Amarone 'Pietro Dal Cero' is produced.
