The Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva Valpantena DOCG by Costa Arènte embodies the essence of Valpolicella's oenological expertise, juxtaposing artisanal mastery with winemaking tradition. This extraordinary wine originates from a meticulous selection of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes from the clay and limestone soils of Valpantena, a valley blessed with a microclimate ideal for viticulture.

After harvesting, the grapes undergo the process of appassimento, losing about 30-40% of their weight and concentrating in aromas and sugars. This is followed by a slow fermentation and a lengthy aging in oak barrels, which imparts an extraordinary complexity to the wine.

The result is an Amarone with remarkable chromatic depth, featuring a deep ruby red color with garnet nuances. On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of ripe fruit, such as spirit-soaked cherries and plums, enriched with spicy notes of vanilla, tobacco, and dark chocolate. On the palate, the wine is generous with a full body and a well-balanced tannic structure that evolves into a persistent and very elegant finish.

Ideal to accompany robust dishes like braised meats, stews, and aged cheeses, the Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva Valpantena DOCG - Costa Arènte is a poetic expression of the Valpantena terroir, inviting moments of conviviality and reflection. A wine that continues to improve with aging, promising surprising evolutions for those who decide to wait. A regal entry into the world of high-end wines, perfect for collectors and enthusiasts eager to savor a piece of Italian winemaking history.
