A Costa Arente Amarone della Valpolicella Valpantena DOCG that presents a rich, measured profile, typical of the great examples of the style. In the glass it shows an intense color, accompanied by a bouquet of ripe fruit — cherry, plum — with hints of sweet spices and a light note of cocoa. The palate is broad and warm but balanced by freshness and a well-integrated tannic texture; the impression is of concentrated substance without excess. The wooden case adds practical value for storage and presentation.

On the palate it reveals a solid structure, with softness and persistence that evolve into fruity echoes and a savory finish. It is a wine for contemplation but pairs wonderfully with braised meats, stewed game, and aged cheeses; also try it with mushroom dishes and rustic sauces. I recommend opening and letting the wine breathe before serving, and serving it at a temperature slightly below room temperature to enhance its balance and depth: it further improves with a few years in the cellar.
